Hand Link

Hand Link turns your webcam into a MIDI controller. Pinch, move or turn your hand and it sends MIDI CC you can map to any parameter in your DAW. Touch a finger to your thumb and it plays notes or chords. No extra hardware needed.

System Requirements

• macOS 12+ or Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
• A VST3 or AU host
• A webcam (720p at 30 fps recommended) and even lighting
• Windows: free loopMIDI for the virtual MIDI port

The macOS installer is signed and notarized by Apple. The Windows installer is unsigned: if SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway.

Free Demo

The demo is free and has no time limit. You get the same formats and DAW support with one MIDI gesture and one Pinch gesture. More MIDI gestures, Depth and Rotation come with the full version.

Check that it works on your PC:

1. The plug-in loads and you see live video
2. Your hand is detected and the overlay follows it smoothly
3. MIDI Learn picks up the Pinch gesture and a knob follows it
4. Touching your index finger to your thumb plays a note
5. The project reopens with your gestures and mappings
